Here are some instructions that I snagged off the BNC_legal list.

- The G train only goes as far into Queens as 23 & Ely/Court Square - so don't follow the directions they gave you! You can take the A to Hoyt Schermerhorn and switch to the Queensbound G or the E to 23/Ely and switch to the Brooklyn bound G. (You can also transfer from the L at Lorimer/Metropolitan or the F train farther south)

- It's a long walk (but a short bike ride!) from the Greenpoint stop. The directions they gave us are fine, but there is also a bus you can take that runs along Greenpoint Ave - I recommend jumping on if it comes by. Just make sure you get off before the bus goes over the bridge into Queens

- The tricky part: finding the entrance to 520 Kingsland ave. There is a sign that directs you to a property office where they apparently never answer the door. So, you have to go all the way over to the left - you will see a row of truck bays that seem like they are in a separate building from the big brick building. But as you go over all the way to the left hand side, you will see that it is actually the left side of the brick building. The door in the side of this building should have paper signs about picking up your bike, and "no letter, no bike" etc. etc. Just pound on it and they will eventually come get you. It might be a good idea to call them first - I lost their number, but they gave it to me when I called a precinct. The sign on the door says 8:30 to 1 only (even though they have told us 8:30 to 2:30), but I don't know if they stick to it b/c I got mine at 1:30

- Last thing. You can get your bike even if you lost your voucher - just ask the DA office to look you up in the computer. They will give you the letter. Bring lots of ID.
